Rebecca Trohaugh

Rebecca Trohaugh ( maiden name Rebecca Moe) was born on May 25, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA.
She grew up in a little red brick house on Glass Rd when it was still an unpaved winding country road.  Her and her older brother Douglas lived there until their father, Floyd Moe died in 1956, when Becky was only 7 years old.  In the years that followed their Mother (Ethel)  was remarried to a fiery union carpenter and they moved across the street and built their modern home (which Sara always thought looked like the Brady bunch house).  She graduated from Montour High School and attended Robert Morris College.   Becky met the man whom she could see a great future with and married Bob Trohaugh in 1977.   They gave birth to Sara in 1980 and Jessica in 1981.  Their first home was in Moon Twp, but a few years after the girls were born returned to Glass Road to build their dream home, which was on land which was once and apple orchard,  connected to Becky’s Mom and Stepfather (Ethel and Jack ). This is the home Becky kept a beautifully designed,  organized and spotless house and cooked her well remembered gourmet meals.   She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and friend.  She was a completely devoted Mom to Sara and Jessica, bringing them to swim practice at all hours,  always making sure they knew they were loved and supported and offering wise advice.  She had the brains to figure out any puzzle or recipe and the wit to light up a table.  She is missed and remembered by many.
